Keene Art Walk 2011

This year I am participating again in the Art Walk in downtown Keene. The 18th annual event runs from Friday, June 3rd, through Sunday, June 12th, 2011. I am delighted to be displaying my artwork in the large windows at "In The Company of Flowers" on Main Street. If you get a chance to stop by and visit, please do. The opening reception will be Friday, June 3rd, from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

Beginning A New Series

I spent some time a bit ago in the Providence, Rhode Island, area collecting beach rocks with my older daughter and husband. I took many photos of the arrangement of the rocks and this year decided to start a new series of paintings based on that trip. There is something quite soothing and peaceful about the smoothness of the rocks and the colors as they collect on the sand. I'm looking forward to displaying these paintings sometime in 2011.

If you are in the Keene, NH, area between Friday, June 4, and Sunday, June 13, I am one of the 75 artists selected for the Keene Art Walk 2010.

My artwork will be displayed in the large window of Ted's Shoe & Sports at the corner of Main St. and Emerald St.

While I've had a website for my artwork online since 1996 or so, my previous site was looking, well, kind of like it still belonged in 1996! So I finally persuaded my IT department (a.k.a. my geeky husband) to give my site a makeover to bring it into the 21st Century!

Please do take a look around... we're still loading in more of my artwork and also changing the configuration around. I'd love to hear what you think of it... and also if you run into any issues with the site.
